An illustrious monument standing on the Place de la Concorde in Paris, the Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel is the expression of the Parisian soul and the art of living à la Française.
A famous heritage building in Paris
Located at 10 place de la Concorde, in the heart of Paris, the Hôtel de Crillon is one of the richest and most emblematic heritage buildings in the French capital.
Many craftsmen and artists have collaborated to revive the splendor of this Palace, in osmosis with the codes of the 21st century. They worked according to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts‘ philosophy that each property reflects the history, culture and sensitivities of each country and location. The guiding principle: respect history, while injecting modernity and Parisian irreverence.
The architect, Richard Martinet, a specialist in the restoration of emblematic buildings around the world, sublimated the 18th century building, including the sumptuous reception rooms on the second floor, which are classified as historical monuments.
The artistic direction of the project was entrusted to Aline Asmar d’Amman.
It was during the renovation that the architects chose Ateliers CINIER to equip their signature suites “Les grands Appartements by Karl Lagerfeld” with BIZO mirror radiators.
Mirror radiators by Cinier are the ultimate elegance.
The signature suites by Karl Lagerfeld
Karl Lagerfeld collaborated with Aline Asmar d’Amman for the creation of the prestigious hotel suites. He called them “Les Grands Appartements”, in reference to the royal suites of the Chateau de Versailles.
