Belle Époque elegance, the freedom of electric heating

Maison CINIER presents GEORGES II, a new generation of architectural electric radiators crafted from cast iron and Olycale® stone. Inspired by traditional Belle Époque radiators, this model reinterprets the heritage aesthetic of cast-iron heating with contemporary, dry, high-performance technology that is perfectly suited to high-end renovation projects.

With GEORGES II, CINIER continues to pursue its vision: transforming the radiator into a true element of interior architecture, at once decorative, technical and evocative.

A Belle Époque silhouette, reimagined for today

GEORGES II retains the iconic proportions of period cast iron radiators, whilst adapting them to contemporary requirements for installation, comfort and aesthetic integration.

Its design has been enhanced by sculpted details created by Johanne Cinier between each section, giving the radiator a strong decorative presence, almost ornamental, whilst retaining a sober and timeless elegance.

Every line, every relief, every detail contributes to this rare impression: that of a heating appliance conceived as a piece of architecture.

  • FAQ

What is a cast iron and stone electric radiator?

GEORGES II combines an internal cast iron electric heating element with an outer casing made of Olycale® stone, offering rapid heat-up, thermal inertia and gentle warmth.

Is GEORGES II suitable for renovation projects?

Yes. GEORGES II requires no plumbing connections. It operates using Dryline® dry electric technology, making it easy to install in older flats, period homes, chalets or hotels.

Does the GEORGES II radiator contain a heat transfer fluid?

No. GEORGES II uses 100% dry technology: no fluid, no leaks and no maintenance.

What is the difference between GEORGES II and a conventional electric radiator?

Unlike a standard electric panel, GEORGES II combines cast iron, Olycale® stone, gentle heat radiation and long-lasting thermal inertia, with a high-end Belle Époque aesthetic.

    Where is GEORGES II manufactured?

GEORGES II is manufactured in France, at the CINIER workshops in Sète.

  • Technology & innovation:

Cast iron and Olycale® stone: a new thermal combination

GEORGES II combines an internal 750 W cast iron electric heating element with an outer casing made of Olycale® stone, the exclusive mineral stone developed by CINIER.

This combination allows for a faster rise in temperature thanks to the cast iron, whilst retaining the comfort, thermal inertia and gentle radiation characteristic of Olycale® stone.

The heat is more enveloping, more stable and more penetrating than that of a standard electric panel. After being switched off, the stone continues to radiate gentle heat for over 75 minutes, providing long-lasting, natural thermal comfort.

    Dryline® electric technology: fluid-free and leak-proof

GEORGES II incorporates Dryline® electric technology, a 100% dry system that requires no heat transfer fluid.

This design eliminates the risk of leaks, reduces maintenance requirements and offers a solution particularly suited to residential, hotel or heritage projects where reliability, simplicity and durability are essential.

    Designed for renovation projects

GEORGES II has been designed to meet the challenges of high-end renovations, where creating or modifying a hydraulic heating system can be complex, costly or impossible.

It combines the elegance of a Belle Époque radiator with the flexibility of a contemporary electric solution, without the need for connection to a boiler or a hydraulic heat pump.

The power cable outlet is now positioned at the rear of the radiator, completely hidden from view. The thermostat receiver is built directly into the unit, eliminating the need to install it in a wall-mounted electrical box. GEORGES II comes as standard with an X3D wireless thermostat, for a simpler, quicker and more elegant installation.

This design makes it an ideal solution for period flats, townhouses, chalets, holiday homes, bedrooms, suites, extensions or hotel projects.

Lighter, more sustainable, made in France

Weighing 52 kg, GEORGES II is approximately 43% lighter than an equivalent traditional cast iron radiator with a heat transfer fluid, estimated at 92 kg. This weight reduction facilitates transport, handling and installation, without compromising on Belle Époque aesthetics or thermal comfort.

Thanks to its dry design and the use of Olycale® stone, GEORGES II also has a significantly reduced carbon footprint: just 30% of the CO₂ footprint of a traditional cast iron radiator.

Like all CINIER creations, GEORGES II is manufactured in France, in the company’s workshops in Sète, where craftsmanship, design and technical innovation have come together since 1975.
